As the leading membership and education organization for insurance and finance in the Asia Pacific region. We have over 17,000 members in 50 countries and about 20% of these are in Asia. Our vision is to be the platform for insurance and finance professionalism. ANZIIF’s Presence in China Since 2002, ANZIIF has established robust partnerships with large insurers, universities and insurance institutes and associations across many cities in greater China. In 2012, ANZIIF established its Shanghai office, which is testament to the organization’s determination to help Chinese market in the long-term. The Shanghai office also lends operational support to ANZIIF Hong Kong and GBA, which has already delivered services to thousands of members in Hong Kong. With China office in place, ANZIIF is well-equipped to provide more efficient and convenient services to our customers and partners in Greater China. ANZIIF Education ANZIIF has established formal partnerships with two of China’s top universities – Nankai University and the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE). As far as Nankai University and CUFE are concerned, ANZIIF has thoroughly reviewed the body of undergraduate and postgraduate insurance courses provided and determined that they meet international standards and quality requirements. Graduates of these courses are eligible to apply for ANZIIF membership. Since 2017, the professional Master’s program provided by the Nankai University Insurance College has fully incorporated ANZIIF’s general insurance and risk survey programs and also set up curriculums that reflect ANZIIF features. In GBA, ANZIIF has also established formal partnerships with The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSU) and Vocational Training Council Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK). Graduates of the accredited professional insurance courses offered by HSU and PEAK are eligible to apply for ANZIIF membership. In addition, ANZIIF also partnerships with different local associations in Hong Kong to provide high quality training courses to the local insurance practitioners. Conclusion ANZIIF offers a range of educational services that address the needs of various sectors within the insurance industry. Through delivering these training programs, ANZIIF has already built its reputation for flexibility, reliability and innovation in China. Given the great opportunity in GBA, we believe that it is possible for junior insurance practitioners to choose to be senior executives in the insurance industry given excellent professional learning pathway is provided by ANZIIF.
