As the leading membership and education organisation for insurance and finance in the Asia Pacific region. We have over 17,000 members in 50 countries and about 20% of these are in Asia. Our vision is to be the platform for insurance and finance professionalism. Widen Education Network Given the uncertainty and economic downturn in the world, ANZIIF is facing a lot of challenges to promote insurance education. However, ANZIIF has established formal partnerships with two of China’s top universities – Nankai University and the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) to widen their insurance education network. As far as Nankai University and CUFE are concerned, ANZIIF has thoroughly reviewed the body of undergraduate and postgraduate insurance courses provided and determined that they meet international standards and quality requirements. Graduates of these courses are eligible to apply for ANZIIF membership. Since 2017, the professional Master’s program provided by the Nankai University Insurance College has fully incorporated ANZIIF’s general insurance and risk survey programs and also set up curriculums that reflect ANZIIF features. In GBA, ANZIIF has also established formal partnerships with The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSU) and Vocational Training Council Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK) to strengthen their footprint in GBA. Graduates of the accredited professional insurance courses offered by HSU and PEAK are eligible to apply for ANZIIF membership. In addition, ANZIIF also partnerships with different local associations in Hong Kong to provide high quality training courses to the local insurance practitioners. Technology Application In view of the technological advancements such as artificial intelligence and world wide web, ANZIIF offers online, interactive short courses, called Skills Units, as well as a range of electronic online distance learning modules. Our education is built around active learning so that you can apply your knowledge in practice to improve everyday work and subsequently enhance business performance in anywhere and anytime. Conclusion ANZIIF offers a range of educational services that address the needs of various sectors within the insurance industry. Through delivering these training programs, ANZIIF has already built its reputation for flexibility, reliability and innovation in China especially GBA district that's how we ensure the continuity and sustainability of ANZIIF. Given the great opportunities in GBA and the relevant technological advancements, we believe that it is possible for ANZIIF to provide excellent professional learning pathway to support the long term growth of insurance industry.
