Year 2009-2010 - Sunny Path of Tomorrow’s Insurance Intermediaries

President Message 會 長 的 話 It had been a great time for me to serve my second term of Presidency of the Chamber in 2009 when we struggled through the Financial Tsunami and we are now back on our feet again. I would like to give my sincere thanks to the strong support and effort of my fellow directors, Mr. Bernard Chan our Honorary Advisor and members of the Board of Councilors which made this term of office so enjoyable and meaningful to me. Together, we experienced the most turbulent and difficult year ever during my career. Together, we succeed in working through all sorts of uncertainties and challenges of unprecedented scale. Together, we learnt a good lesson of the importance of ‘make sense’ approach and close collaboration. Together, it is high time now to take a positive stand to our future and keep exploring new ways of success. The Yearbook 2009 & Prospect 2010 is intended to bring together writers of different backgrounds to share their views with us in this respect. One is right to say that few articles may not be enough. Nevertheless, they provide good ground for further thoughts. I would like to sincerely thank all writers who generously share their views with us. Last but not least, Willy Wong and his members of the 2009-10 Yearbook Sub-committee must be giving a big hand in making the publication possible. I hope that all of you enjoy reading this publication. Joseph C.L. Sit President 2009 Yearbook 2009 年刊 & Prospect 2010 展望 4
